The LBJ School requires three letters of recommendation from professional colleagues who are familiar with your (a) leadership, managerial performance and overall ability, and (b) motivation to conduct graduate work.
Within 1–2 business day(s) after submitting your application and paying your application fee, you will receive a second email message acknowledging that the Graduate and International Admissions Center (GIAC) has received your application.

Recommenders will be asked a series of short questions required by the University in order to submit a recommendation.
Your recommender will be given the option to type or paste their letter into a text box or to upload it as a file. We are unable to modify the questions your recommenders will be asked on this page, so be sure to request that they address your leadership, managerial performance, and ability, as well as your motivation to conduct graduate work in their letter.
